Job Duties
Plasma Table Operator
Machine Operation & Setup: Operate plasma cutting machines according to specifications, adjusting settings for different metal types and thicknesses
Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints to determine cut dimensions and layouts
Precision Cutting: Perform cuts on metal sheets, plates, and workpieces to meet quality and production standards
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, replace consumables, and troubleshoot minor malfunctions to minimize downtime
Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety protocols, wear protective gear (e.g., gloves, goggles, ear protection), and work in hot, noisy, and dusty environments
Quality Control: Inspect cut parts for accuracy and report defects or discrepancies
Minimum Education Required
High School Diploma
Minimum Experience Required
Plasma Table Operating experience or welding experience.
