Full job description

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

At Genomines, our mission is to pioneer a new era of sustainable metal production by farming plants that hyperaccumulate metal. Through synthetic biology and cutting-edge technology, we harness the power of nature to create plants that can farm for metals while decontaminating soils and creating cleaner lands for agriculture. Our ultimate goal is to become the world's first carbon-negative nickel producer, using sustainable, cost-competitive methods to extract the valuable resources our society needs for the energy transition.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Plant Production Technicians to join our Plant Production Team, responsible for the in vitro propagation of plants through tissue culture techniques. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in micropropagation, aseptic techniques, and plant tissue handling under sterile conditions.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the scaling of our plant production pipeline, ensuring consistent quality and productivity within our tissue culture operations.

Please note Genomines does not sponsor visas or relocation for this role.
