Position Profile:

This role will work with hospice clients to provide personal engagement and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hospice nursing care.

  • Foster therapeutic relationships.

  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments.

  • Plan and implement effective care.

  • Manage pain and symptoms.

  • Ensure patient safety.

  • Facilitate care environment transitions.

  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers.

  • Support end-of-life processes.

  • Address end-of-life ethical concerns.

  • Produce accurate documentation promptly.

  • Utilize resources efficiently.

  • Adhere to practice scope and continuously enhance services.

  • Maintain Bloom's professional conduct standards.

Qualifications:

  • Accredited nursing school graduate.

  • Valid CO RN license.

  • At least one year in medical, surgical, or critical care nursing.

  • Strong clinical assessment capability.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Effective problem-solving skills.

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management.

  • Computer proficiency.

Additional Qualifications Preferred:

  • Experience in hospice or oncology.

  • Understanding of death/dying and bereavement processes.

  • CHPN certification.

The pay range for this role in the state of Colorado typically falls between $50.00 - $60.00 per hour with the potential for performance-based bonuses and other benefits.
