Position Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring that the retail shops are properly merchandised, stocked and clean at all times.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:

  • Ensures that the retail shops are properly merchandised, stocked and clean at all times

  • Assists with overseeing the hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation and counseling of the retail staff

  • Ensures that company and departmental policies and procedures are adhered to

Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains accurate records of daily deliveries and transfers

  • Maintains the stores standards and appearance

  • Communicates customer requests

Minimum Education and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Two years of supervisory experience in a high volume retail operation

Competencies: Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

  • Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Knowledge of the Mohegan Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO) as it relates to employment

Training Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Mohegan Sun corporate and department policies and procedures

  • Must attend all appropriate Human Resources Supervisor Training classes

  • Knowledge of Stratton Warren, Micros and NetVu systems

  • Knowledge of Ascent, EmpowerTime and Manager Self Service systems

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
