Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the Salesforce domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Selenium, and related automation frameworks, with additional expertise in manual testing. Experience with PROVAR automation is highly desirable. This role requires a proactive, independent professional capable of enhancing automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring the highest quality standards. The candidate must also have experience working within an agile framework to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
This position is a hybrid role based in Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities

Work within an agile framework, participating in sprints, stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and provide feedback.

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.

Perform manual testing alongside automation efforts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Optimize and enhance existing automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, integrating relevant CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

Proactively track, log, and manage defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

Monitor and report on test progress, coverage metrics, and testing effectiveness.

Exhibit an analytical mindset with a "what-if" mentality for problem-solving and identifying edge cases.

Document test cases, test results, and automation processes comprehensively for future reference.

Willingness to learn new technologies and tools as required to stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Qualifications Required

3–5 years of experience in QA automation within the Salesforce domain.

Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and associated frameworks for automating tests.

Solid understanding of Salesforce platform testing requirements and best practices.

Experience working within an agile framework, including participation in sprints and team collaboration.

Hands-on experience with both automation and manual testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and optimize test processes.

Experience with API and database testing to ensure full coverage of application layers.

Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and TestRail/Bugzilla for defect tracking and test management.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field as a foundation for technical skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred:

Experience with PROVAR automation for Salesforce-specific test automation.

Salesforce certification for in-depth knowledge of the platform.
