Full Stack Developer / Cursor Enablement

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Full Stack Developer with strong day-to-day Cursor experience. This person will be expected to use Cursor directly in their own development work while also helping establish effective practices, support other developers, and improve overall team usage of AI-assisted development tools.

This role will focus approximately 50% on Cursor support, enablement, and governance, 20% on support and enhancement of existing applications, and 30% on new full stack web application development

Compensation: Up to $50.00/hr up based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include available request.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong full stack web application development experience

• Strong hands-on Cursor experience in real day-to-day software delivery

• Experience helping other non-developers adopt and use Cursor or similar AI-assisted development tools effectively

• Experience with frontend and backend development in a source-code-based environment

• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, authentication, error handling, and application support

• Strong SQL skills and strong working knowledge of Databricks

• Experience with version control, branching, code review, and structured software delivery practices

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with stakeholders

Cursor Support, Enablement, and Governance

• Serve as a resource for Cursor usage across the team/organization

• Use Cursor directly in day-to-day software development work

• Help developers/non-developers use Cursor effectively for coding, refactoring, debugging, prompt strategy, and workflow acceleration

• Establish practical standards for AI-assisted development, including code quality, review, documentation, and responsible use of generated output

• Build repeatable workflows for pull requests, testing, release quality, and engineering guardrails in a Cursor-enabled environment

Application Support and Development

• Support and enhance existing web applications and related services

• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes

• Design, build, test, and deploy modern web-based applications

• Build and maintain frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, integrations, and supporting data workflows

• Work directly with business and IT stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver practical solutions

Data and Platform Work

• Work with SQL and Databricks where application workflows depend on data access, transformation, integration, or analytics support · Experience supporting internal oil & gas business applications

• Experience defining engineering standards, documentation, and development processes

• Exposure to Mendix, Databricks
