Description: Trinity Health Grand Rapids Endoscopy Unit is a 12-bed unit that has 4 procedure rooms.
Summary:
The Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing.

Daily Pay Options
What you will do:
-
Preparation of patients before endoscopy procedure.
-
Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures.
-
As part of the procedural team, you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures.

Provide nurse sedation during a procedure.
-
Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit

Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions.
What you will need:
-
Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program
-
Associate's degree in nursing required, BSN preferred.
-
In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire
-
Licensed in the State of Michigan
-
Current BLS
-
RN experience in a health care setting.

Experience in an acute health care setting preferred, Endoscopy or critical care
