Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

 • Report directly to a Lead Technician

 • Troubleshoot and diagnose building automation systems

 • Replace sensors, actuators, UPS units, and batteries

 • Clean control panels and sensors

 • Assist with system maintenance and preventative maintenance activities

 • Support building automation system operations

 • Attend customer and project meetings as needed

 • Work directly with end users and facility personnel

 • Follow all USDA facility requirements and procedures

Our client is seeking an HVAC Controls Technician to support a long-term government facility project in Manhattan, KS. This individual will work alongside a lead technician performing basic building automation and controls maintenance, troubleshooting, and support activities. Training:

Onboarding and system exposure provided before working independently

Hands-on training with site-specific building automation systems

Ongoing support from Lead Technicians and project leadership

Skills and Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

 • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS)

  ○ Metasys, Enterprise Buildings Integrator (EBI), PLC, Desigo CC, Delta Controls, EcoStruxure

 • Basic HVAC knowledge and understanding

 • USDA facility access/security clearance

  ○ Currently holds it or has held it previously and can reactivate it Preferred Qualifications:

 • Metasys Experience

 • Previous field service or facilities maintenance experience
