Successful candidates bring 12-18 Years Project Management Experience, Data Engineering Experience, and Analytics Experience. Important skills include Scrum, SAFe, End-to-End Delivery Management, Kanban, Stakeholder Management, and Communication Skills. Preferred (not required): Sprint Excellence, PI Execution, Sprint Planning, and Daily Stand-ups.

Job Title: Project Manager - Data & Analytics

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive Agile delivery for large-scale data and analytics programs. The role requires strong expertise in Scrum, SAFe (Scaled Agile), and end-to-end delivery management, with a focus on sprint excellence, PI execution, and delivering measurable business outcomes for global clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile & Scrum Delivery:

  • Act as Scrum Master for multiple cross-functional teams delivering data engineering, BI, and analytics solutions

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives

  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization, and well-defined user stories

  • Track and improve Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, predictability) and ensure sprint discipline

  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback loops

SAFe & Program Execution:

  • Lead and facilitate SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies

  • Drive Program Increment (PI) Planning, including preparation, execution, and stakeholder alignment

  • Monitor and present PI progress, risks, and delivery metrics to leadership

  • Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment across multiple squads

Delivery & Project Management:

  • Own end-to-end delivery across all SDLC stages for complex data/analytics programs

  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies

  • Ensure delivery aligns with business goals and client expectations

  • Drive release planning, sequencing, and execution across multiple teams

Stakeholder & Governance:

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders, leadership teams, and change control boards

  • Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and insights to senior management

  • Manage risks, issues, and escalations, ensuring timely mitigation

  • Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and delivery standards

Tools & Execution:

  • Work extensively with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Kendis

  • Maintain transparency through dashboards, reports, and Agile tracking tools

Leadership & Agile Transformation:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and mentorship to delivery teams, Product Owners, and engineering managers

  • Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe framework

  • Contribute to Agile Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives and drive Agile adoption

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 12 to 18 years of experience in Project Management / Scrum Master roles

  • Strong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)

  • Proven experience managing multiple cross-functional Agile teams and large-scale programs

  • Experience in data engineering, analytics, or product development environments

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Note:
