Are you passionate about shaping stories that matter? KVEO (NBC/CBS) in Harlingen, TX (DMA 80) is looking for a full-time News Producer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative newsroom and loves creating compelling content for one of Texas’ fastest-growing markets.
As a News Producer, you’ll be at the heart of our daily newscasts—crafting engaging stories, building dynamic rundowns, and ensuring every show informs and connects with our audience.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Produce newscasts for broadcast and digital platforms, including CTV
-
Write and organize news stories with accuracy and creativity
-
Approve scripts and maintain editorial standards
-
Balance hard news and features to deliver compelling broadcasts
-
Edit video and collaborate with the production team
-
Engage viewers on social media and drive audience interaction
-
Perform other newsroom duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field (or equivalent experience)

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in news operations

Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and adapt quickly

Flexibility to work any shift
