Responsibilities Your Leadership Impact As Area Director, you will:

  • Supervise Residence Directors and oversee performance management, coaching, and staff development

  • Guide hiring processes and provide leadership-level orientation and onboarding support

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned homes, including staffing, budgets, maintenance, and documentation

  • Ensure development and implementation of high-quality Individual Support Plans (ISPs)

  • Maintain compliance with DDS regulations and lead homes toward two-year certification with distinction

  • Oversee internal audits, regulatory reporting, and electronic record accuracy (reviewed no less than quarterly)

  • Coordinate clinical services, entitlements, and community resources

  • Manage internal on-call systems and respond effectively to emergencies and safety concerns

  • Represent assigned programs at administrative meetings and participate in program evaluation

  • Promote strong relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory agencies

  • Safeguard confidential information and uphold organizational policies and procedures

Qualifications Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of related human services experience

  • Demonstrated supervisory experience required

Licensing & Certifications:

  • Valid Class C or Class D Driver’s License

  • CPR/First Aid certification required
