Speech Therapist
Location: Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Webster
Shift: Per diem
Rate: Up to $60 an hour, weekly pay
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team at Webster Manor Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, a skilled nursing facility. As a Speech Therapist, you will provide patient/resident assessment, care planning, direct treatment and consultation to a general rehab caseload, and participate in the clinical team process.
Responsibilities:

Screens patients/residents and evaluates them for rehabilitation services

Develops and implements individualized rehabilitation plans
-
Provides direct patient/resident treatment and consultation
-
Participates in the clinical team process and contributes to quality improvement activities
-
Communicates effectively with patients, residents, team members, and customers
-
Demonstrates ability for continuous new learning to remain current in the field
Requirements:
-
Bachelor of Science or Master of Science Degree in Speech Therapy
-
Current licensure by the applicable state agency
-
Two (2) years of clinical experience in long-term care preferred
-
Ability to function effectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively with all levels of staff and customers
-
Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills
-
Standing and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary
-
Excellent hearing and verbal skills required for directing staff, customer relations, and marketing activities

Manual dexterity required for documentation needs, manipulations of equipment and for direct patient care
