Full job description

Overview Are you a sales professional drawn to market development , exceptional product , and high-velocity pipeline ? Do you approach your work with process, grit, and determination ? And are you ready to help a beloved and indomitable software team win, in a new region? If so, Wheelhouse is seeking our first Europe-based Account Executive to build our presence across Europe and broader EMEA markets.

The ideal candidate brings quota-carrying sales experience , an experimental yet disciplined mentality , and the ability to manage a high-volume sales funnel while delivering consultative product demos to short-term rental (STR) operators across diverse regions. You’ve worked in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment and have a track record of owning the full sales cycle for SMB & commercial accounts, the core focus of this role . Invested in your work, you have something to prove – while protecting time for your ‘why’ outside of it.

There are also ‘ founding ’ elements to the opportunity; while Wheelhouse is one of the “big three” globally and deeply established in the US, we're the newer entrant in Europe — so you must be comfortable adapting proven processes for a new market , iterating based on regional feedback, and working directly with our Head of Sales as a thought partner in the ground-up build of our European GTM.

Success will require someone who acts as a collaborative self-starter , working well cross-functionally and cross-time-zone , coordinating with US and EU teams through clear communication and strong async habits — while always looking for ways to improve themselves, their territory, and their go-to-market motion.

If you're energized by this ground-floor opportunity at a smart, fun, and tenacious org — we'd love to hear from you!

The Role We're looking for a socially fluent and ambitious pipeline pro — someone who maintains velocity, loves converting skeptics into believers, and brings rigor to process. You are organized and driven, excited to speak with potential clients daily about revenue management software and trends. You excel at building trust quickly, listening to pain points, and demonstrating how Wheelhouse solves them.

What you'll be doing:

  • Own the sales cycle from cold outreach to closed-won for commercial accounts across EMEA.

  • Drive your own outbound strategy. Execute on your book while identifying new high-potential targets, building sequences, and booking your own discovery calls.

  • Maintain a healthy top-of-funnel of 50–100 active prospects. Move deals quickly through the pipeline without sacrificing quality.

  • Conduct compelling demos, effectively communicating product features and benefits to property managers across diverse European markets.

  • Feed critical frontline insights back to EMEA leadership and product teams to shape regional strategy.

  • Work collaboratively with your international sales colleagues — sharing what's working, solving what's not, and supporting a culture of excellence.

  • Navigate time-zone differences through strong documentation and async communication to maintain momentum while keeping a largely Europe-based schedule. Deal profile

  • Segment : SMB & commercial STR operators across EMEA, managing 30–250 properties

  • Deal specs: $5k–$30k ARR, increasing 2x+ with services add-ons, usage-based API access, and supplemental data products

  • Contract length: 1–2 years

  • Sales cycle: 2–3 months

  • Source mix: 80–90% outbound (SQL, MQL & cold leads), 10–20% inbound, with growing top-of-funnel support over time, unlocked by your success

  • Target markets: UK, Portugal, DACH & Beneleux – any market and prospect willing to do business in English

  • Secondary markets: enterprise operators across key Middle Eastern & Asian markets Qualifications Requirements:

  • 3+ years of outbound, full-cycle SaaS sales experience, with a track record of hitting or exceeding targets.

  • Effective communicator with strong objection-handling skills.

  • Comfort with cold calling, email sequencing, and creative prospecting.

  • Exceptional listening and presentation skills.

  • Ability to interpret data and communicate learnings clearly.

  • Fluent in English (native or professional proficiency).

  • CRM / reporting proficiency (HubSpot, Gong, etc.).

  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage your day effectively in a remote environment.

  • Based in Europe and able to work primarily in UK/CET business hours.

  • Travel — 10%, with opportunities for more. Preferred:

  • 3+ years in the Short-Term Rental industry

  • Multi-lingual proficiency. Most helpful languages include Portuguese, Spanish, Italian or French

  • Experience selling into UK markets

  • SaaS startup experience

  • Dynamic Pricing / Revenue Management / Market Data software experience

  • Familiarity with core RM concepts (or eagerness to learn) Your First 90 Days:

  • Month 1: Learn the Wheelhouse platform, develop your pitch, and shadow your sales colleagues. Meet your teammates, absorb the culture, review recorded sales cycles, and study the fundamentals of revenue management and the STR industry.

Month 2: Begin leading sales calls with support. Start developing pipeline. Launch your outbound campaigns and work toward managing a full schedule of demos.

Month 3: Iterate, improve, close. Build pipeline. Continue synthesizing your learnings, adapt and execute top-of-funnel outreach, and progress toward post-ramp status.

You’ll be asked to work a partially hybrid EU-US schedule for the first few months for more exposure to US sales teammates and calls. We will discuss and work out a plan with the right person.

Months 4-6: Back half of your ramp with increased attainment expectations, ramping towards closing your full quota by the start of month 7.

Perks and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ( $ 72.5 k - $ 82.5 k USD DOE), OTE ($ 1 2 0k - $ 1 38 k USD DOE) and equity
