Pay: $25.00/hr

BASIC FUNCTION:
- Responds in a professional, polite, and helpful manner when dealing with customers.
- Works directly with building staff and supervisors to help keep the facility clean, safe, and operational.
- Performs general facility maintenance and basic repairs under supervision.
- Assists with minor repairs to building equipment and systems.
- Helps ensure client satisfaction.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with basic maintenance and upkeep of building systems and equipment.
- Performs general maintenance duties such as light fixture replacement, minor repairs, and basic troubleshooting.
- Uses hand and power tools safely to complete basic repair and maintenance tasks.
- Completes assigned preventative maintenance tasks as directed by supervisor.
- Learns to use the CMMS program to log and support work performed.
- Learns, understands, and complies with fire, safety, and other emergency practices. Informs supervisor of any condition observed to be unsafe.
- Assists with basic upkeep of lighting and other building components as directed.
- Records basic maintenance activity in building logbooks.
- Assists with surface preparation and painting, minor drywall repair, and general cleanup tasks.
- Helps maintain maintenance inventory and notifies supervisor when supplies are running low.
- Assists in emergencies as needed and under supervisor direction.
- Returns all work areas to a clean, neat, orderly, and safe condition.
- Participates in training directed at job-related skills and safety compliance.
