Project Manager / Estimator
Seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join a growing team in Ely, Iowa. This role is ideal for a commercial roofing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing high-value projects, and wants to be part of a collaborative, family-owned company with a strong reputation across the Midwest.
You'll oversee multiple commercial roofing projects from estimating and planning through completion, ensuring profitability, quality, safety, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Meet with commercial clients, property managers, and building owners
- Conduct roof inspections and site evaluations
- Take measurements and assess project requirements
- Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and bid submissions
- Follow up on bids to help secure new business
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate closely with superintendents and field teams
- Monitor project budgets and profitability
- Manage change orders and project costs
- Ensure quality control and safety compliance
- Keep customers informed throughout the project lifecycle
- Resolve project issues quickly and professionally
- Maintain project documentation and reporting

Required Experience:
- 4+ years of commercial roofing project management experience
- Commercial roofing estimating experience
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong commercial roofing knowledge
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications
- Accurate measurement and takeoff skills
- Budget management experience
- Job cost analysis and forecasting
- Change order management experience
Compensation & Earning Potential:
- $70,000 - $110,000 annually (dependent on experience)
