Job overview

Schneider is hiring a CDL-A - Dedicated truck driver - Mission Foods. The driver will operate lift‑gate trailers to haul food products, perform 100 % hand unloads using electric and manual pallet jacks, complete five loads per week with one to six stop‑offs per load, and drive within Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and South Dakota.

Preferred (not required): Liftgate Trailer, Electric Pallet Jack, Manual Pallet Jack, and Hand Unloads.

Dedicated truck driver - Mission Foods

Average pay: $1,250-$1,520 weekly

Home time: Weekly

Experience: All CDL holders

Overview

  • Liftgate trailer hauling food products.

  • 100% hand unloads using electric and manual pallet jack.

  • 5 loads per week with 1-6 stop-offs per load.

  • Drive within IA, KS, MO, NE and SD.

Pay and bonus potential

  • Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

  • Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first 90 days at Schneider.

  • Weekly performance pay.

  • $7,500 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

  • $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.

  • Paid orientation.

  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

  • Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

  • Live within 50 miles of Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO or Omaha, NE.
