What Success Looks Like In This Job
To provide exceptional and efficient customer service to our internal and external customers of the Adams County Conference Centers located at both the Government Center and the Human Services Center for the Business Services Division of the Facilities and Fleet Department
Examples of Duties for Success
-
Act as the primary contact for the scheduling and maintenance of the Conference Center rooms and areas at the Government Center and the Human Services Center
-
Responsible for scheduling internal and external events at the Conference Centers and completing all necessary paperwork for such events
-
Responsible for setting up and breaking down the Conference Center space(s) before and after events in the Conference Centers
-
Provide technical assistance with all A/V equipment located within the Government Center and the Human Services Center Conference Centers
-
Provide light maintenance and custodial duties in areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all customers
-
Coordinate with catering services as requested by the Conference Center customers
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Success

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time

Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, and scoot

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to operate general office equipment including computer, printer, telephone, and radio

Knowledge of and ability to operate IT and A/V equipment

Ability to provide effective and exceptional customer service to internal and external customers from diverse backgrounds

Work collaboratively with team members

Ability to communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely, both written and verbally

Knowledge of and the ability to use various computer software programs including, but not limited to, MS Suite, EventPro

Ability to provide coverage for the Government Center and the Human Services Center Conference Centers including the ability to work overtime, after hours, and weekends

Ability to think quickly to address needs and adapt to changing tasks in a timely and courteous manner

Must have a neat and professional appearance

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:

Two (2) years customer service experience required.

Previous experience with scheduling software preferred.

- Must pass a criminal background check
