Overview Join a dynamic and collaborative surgical team at Piedmont Walton, where we perform over 4,000 procedures annually across four fully equipped operating rooms. As a Level III Trauma Center and ANCC Pathway to Excellence designated facility since 2022, we are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care 24/7/365—including urgent and emergent add-on cases.
Our cross-trained surgical staff supports a broad range of services including orthopedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT, robotic-assisted procedures, bariatrics, gynecology, podiatry, and endoscopy. The OR team is composed of RNs, surgical technologists, CSFAs, and procedure support technicians, with staffing aligned to AORN standards to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care.

Responsibilities The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
