Job Description
A large Insight Global customer in the Construction industry for cutting edge data center and semiconductor manufacturing facility projects, is seeking a Quality Manager for a project in the Claude, Texas area. The Quality Manager will work closely with the project teams, including trade partners, to plan and execute quality work on the job site daily, ensuring materials and installations meet Quality requirements of the project contract documents. They will facilitate work groups related to coordination and collaboration on QA/QC activities with trade partners, construction managers, and superintendents. They will monitor all construction activities & complete work on the project to verify and document adherence to design documents, project specifications, industry standards, building codes, and client expectations.
It would be helpful to have a background across multiple disciplines (structural, concrete, electrical, mechanical, steel, etc.) and strong people skills are a must. This role will be full time onsite, however will be mainly office versus in the field. The position can offer $45-65/hour depending on experience and will include $1,120 weekly per diem. Must be comfortable working 50 hour weeks as needed (will be paid overtime).

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of construction experience within QA/QC or inspection, in one or more of the following scopes: structural, mechanical/process, electrical, plumbing, or civil/architectural design

Minimum 1-2+ years management experience

Ability to work cross functionally with Superintendents, trade workers, etc. +Previously or currently licensed journeyman electrician, pipefitter, welder, HVAC, or other trade specialties
+OSHA 10, OSHA 30
+Special Inspection Certifications such as AWS CWI, ICC Special Inspector, VT Level 1 or 2
