Job Summary:
HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is recruiting a PRN board eligible/certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.
Qualified Candidates/Opportunity Highlights:

MD or DO licensure from an accredited institution and ABA board eligibility/certification required.

Fellowship training in Cardiac Anesthesiology from an ACGME-accredited program required.
-
Must be able to obtain an unrestricted medical license and DEA from the state of New Hampshire prior to employment.
-
Anesthesia Care Team model of 5 Anesthesiologists and 15 CRNA’s per day, covering 13 sites of service to include 2 CV OR’s.
-
Annual surgical volume – 13,300 cases (~500 hearts annually and 600 deliveries annually).
-
This is a high-acuity cardiovascular program performing all cardiac cases except transplants and pediatric cardiac surgery. Procedures include, but are not limited to:
-
CABG (on-pump and off-pump)
-
AVR, MVR, and TVR
-
Bentall procedures
-
Aortic arch repairs
-
Type A dissections (with or without valve involvement and extension into head vessels)
-
Ross procedures (rare; two completed already this year)
-
Carotid TAVRs
-
MitraClip procedures
-
Transcatheter Mitral Valve Replacement (TMVR)
-
Awake carotid endarterectomies with cervical plexus blocks

Impella placements
-
IABP cases
-
Occasional ECMO support
-
General cases include Trauma (Level III), Vascular, EP, Thoracic, OB, Orthopedics, Urology, General, GYN, and GI (no Peds or ENT).
