As a Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful work that supports the financial health of our members and the communities we serve. Working alongside our Finance team, you will develop practical skills in financial analysis, reporting, and credit union operations while learning from experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
Are you looking to apply what you have learned in the classroom to real-world financial operations? This internship provides an opportunity to build your analytical skills, gain exposure to accounting and finance functions, and contribute to projects that make a meaningful impact across the organization.
Your purpose:

Assist Finance Analysts with financial reporting, data analysis, and special projects.

Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and documentation.

Collaborate with Finance Clerks and Analysts to improve processes and support department initiatives.

Participate in internal audits, reconciliations, and compliance-related activities.

Assist with administrative and operational tasks that support the Finance Department.

Gain exposure to the day-to-day financial operations of a growing credit union.
We are looking for:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Students enrolled in a two-year degree program who intend to transfer to a four-year institution are also encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to students who have completed at least their freshman year of college.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute.

Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and procedures.

Demonstrated experience in customer service.

Schedule / Location / Duration:

Duration: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 with opportunity for extension.

Monday – Friday. Hours are flexible dependent on school schedule.

This position is located in Olean, NY.
The expected pay range for this position is $16.00/ hour. Actual pay is dependent upon a candidate’s experience, education, and skill level.
