MAINTENANCE & SAFETY TECH

Employment Type: Part timeShift: Night Shift Description: Eddy Memorial Geriatric Center - Troy NY - Part Time - Nights Shift: Weekends only: Saturdays and Sundays Maintain a peaceful and secure community environment for our residents and staff. Security and maintenance duties included:

• Patrol building for resident safety and equipment checks.

• Take out trash from garbage cans

• First responder to, and investigate complaints, thefts, vandalism, accidents, or incidents and promptly report to the management, law enforcement officials, or emergency/rescue personnel as is appropriate.

• Light maintenance as needed – salt and shovel walkways for safety during ice & snow, respond to plumbing issues in maintenance off hours, light bulbs, etc.

• Resident services as needed such as package delivery, valet vehicles, etc.

Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED. Experience Requirements: 2 years' experience preferred. Valid NYS Driver's License required. Pay Range: $18.50 - $24.66 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
