Overview

Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Anatomical and Clinical Pathologist to join our established Pathology team at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  • PRN position

  • New graduates welcome to apply

  • Training in both Anatomical and Clinical Pathology required. Additional training in Cytopathology preferred but not required

  • Join a team with 2 other BC Pathologists that support the Anatomical and Clinical Pathology laboratory services for 1 hospital in addition to multiple clinic sites and an endoscopy center

  • General surgical sign-out including GI, breast, GYN, GU, derm and head and neck amongst other case types

  • Perform frozen sections

  • Autopsies not required

  • Fully automated clinical laboratory with extensive specialized testing in each of the clinical lab sections

  • Opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine in Urbana, IL, the nation’s first medical school focused at the intersection of healthcare and engineering

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is $2,200/shift. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
