Amee Bay , a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking an Elevator / Conveyor Support Technician, US Navy to join our team in Norfolk, VA .
Position Responsibilities:

Provide mechanical and electrical repair and testing of US Navy Elevator / Conveyor systems/equipment onboard ships and in the shop.

Conduct removal, maintenance, repair, overhaul, assembly, installation, alignment, troubleshooting, modifying, and testing of ships’ elevator and conveyor mechanical and electrical systems and components including vertical package conveyors, dumbwaiters, cargo and weapons elevators, and medical personnel evacuation emergency platforms.

Use standard mechanic’s tools, torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators and other precision measuring instruments, fixtures, portable machine tools, and various gauges in the removal, maintenance, repair, overhaul, assembly, installation, alignment, and testing of shipboard elevator and conveyor equipment, components, and subassemblies.

Read, interpret, and understand technical references; ship drawings; equipment technical manuals; blueprints; schematics; and sketches.

Identify materials and parts requiring replacement on equipment, components and subassemblies.
Position Requirements:

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance.

Work from ladders, scaffolding and platforms, and where system equipment is hard-to-reach places, requiring the need to stand, stoop, bend, kneel and climb.

Lift, carry, and help set up tools, equipment, and parts that weigh up to 50 pounds. Occasionally assist with carrying items that weigh over 50 pounds (two persons required).
This position is located in Norfolk, VA.
The hourly wage for this position is $33.00 - $36.00 based on experience.
