Full job description

The Mission

Yocket is the largest community-driven platform for international education, having helped over 1 million students reach elite institutions like Harvard, MIT, and Oxford. But we aren’t done. We are looking for an Entrepreneur-in-Residence style Community Manager to turn our platform into a self-sustaining, high-velocity ecosystem.

The Challenge: 0 to 1 and 1 to 100

We don’t need a moderator; we need an architect. You will own the "Zero-to-One" creation of engagement rituals and the "One-to-100" scaling of our global student network. This isn’t about posting updates - it’s about building a digital nation for international students.

Your Charter

Strategic Architecture: Define the 10x engagement roadmap. You aren’t just following a plan; you’re building the engine that drives user retention and brand love. The Face of Yocket: Host high-octane events, AMAs with Ivy League alumni, and community challenges. You should be as comfortable commanding a virtual room of 1,000 as you are writing a strategic brief. Build the "Advocacy Machine": Identify, recruit, and mentor a global league of student ambassadors who will act as the heartbeat of our platform. Data-Driven Growth: Use GA, WebEngage, MS Clarity, and Metabase to dissect user behavior. If the data shows a friction point, you work with Product to fix it. Guard the Trust: Ensure the community remains a high-signal, zero-spam sanctuary for students making the biggest decision of their lives.

Who You Are (The Ideal Persona)

Entrepreneurial DNA: You’ve likely founded a startup or led a high-growth vertical. You treat this community like your own business. High Agency: You don’t wait for instructions. You see a gap, you fill it. You see a fire, you put it out (or start a controlled one to get things moving). 2+ Years of High-Stakes Experience: We don’t care if your title was "Community Manager" before, but we do care that you’ve owned a P&L or a critical growth metric. Tech-Fluent: You can talk shop with developers and translate community pain points into technical product requirements. Data-Fluent: Hands-on with GA, WebEngage, MS Clarity, Metabase, or similar; must possess basic data exploration and analysis skills.

Why Join Us?

No "Boss" Culture: We operate on mentorship and ownership. If your idea is good, it gets built. Comprehensive Wellness: Medical insurance for your family and access to psychological counseling because we know high-growth roles are demanding. Flexible Environment: We care about outcomes, not clock-ins.

Global Impact: Your work directly results in students achieving their dreams of global education.
