We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves operating machinery, including extrusion machines, and performing a variety of production tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and extrusion machines efficiently.

• Perform general production tasks in a manufacturing environment.

• Engage in assembly and packaging tasks.

• Utilize hand tools and tape measures for precise operations.

• Conduct troubleshooting and basic maintenance on machinery.

• Load and operate forklifts as needed.

Essential Skills

• Experience with machine operation and extrusion machines.

• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in general labor and production tasks.

• Familiarity with troubleshooting mechanical issues.

• Capability to work with packing materials and techniques.

Work Environment

The position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule with 12-hour shifts, alternating between days and nights from 7-7. The work environment is fast-paced and requires adherence to safety standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blythewood, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
