Full job description

We're looking for a highly motivated HVAC Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity to learn on the job and build a career in a growing industry. You'll work on our innovative modular homes, helping us install and test all-electric HVAC systems, including heat pumps, ERVs (Energy Recovery Ventilators), and the related ductwork.

What You'll Do

  • Install and mount heat pumps, including the refrigerant lines.

  • The installation and testing of ERV systems.

  • Assemble and install ductwork, ensuring it's sealed correctly for optimal airflow.

  • Perform performance tests on HVAC systems.

  • Help inspect completed work to ensure it meets our quality standards.

  • Work alongside licensed plumbers and electricians as we build our homes.

  • Follow all safety protocols and learn about building and energy codes.

  • Learn and practice proper refrigerant handling and documentation to maintain EPA compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with HVAC systems.

  • Preference given to candidates with their EPA Section 608 Universal Certification, but this is not a requirement.

  • The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work overhead, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.

  • A strong desire to learn, an eye for detail, and a positive attitude.
