Functional Role (not inclusive of titles or advancement career progression)

Collect meal orders, prepares, assembles, and serves food according to dietary guidelines and quality standards

Handles more advanced prep and ensures items meet production tallies and deadlines

Coordinates with cooks, supervisors, and clinical staff on food quality and equipment
-
Rotates and replenishes floor stock, food supplies, and kitchen inventory to maintain par levels and reduce waste
-
Cleans dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas; ensures sanitation compliance and reports maintenance or safety issues

Operates basic kitchen tools, cleans, and maintains equipment according to safety protocols

Follows food safety and hygiene guidelines, monitors and records food and equipment temperatures to meet regulatory standards

Operates point-of-sale systems, handles cash transactions accurately
Minimum Qualifications
Serve Safe Certification or within 6mo. of hire. Food Handlers Certification in line with state requirements, or within 6 mo. of hire. Diet competency certification or within 6 mo. Of hire.
Additional Qualifications (nice to have)
High School Diploma or GED. 1-2 year of customer service
