LEAD EPIC BEAKER ANALYST

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Epic Beaker Analyst to apply analytical processes to the planning, design, and implementation of technology systems to meet business requirements. This individual will lead multiple mid-to-large size implementations and initiatives and modify systems including build, testing, debugging, and support application systems.

This role is responsible for developing measurable and actionable approaches to accelerate implementation through optimized or established workflows and processes. The analyst will partner with operations to ensure business ideas are translated into requirements with clear and measurable outcomes, while also identifying, researching, and evaluating enterprise applications and technologies to support strategic Technology and Digital initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include translating business needs into technical requirements, optimizing existing implementations, and debugging reported issues. The role requires strong knowledge of systems analysis, prototyping, and integration, as well as the ability to lead others through change, build stakeholder partnerships, monitor progress and results, and adapt to competing demands and organizational changes.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Sciences, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience)

 • Epic Beaker Certification

 • Experience leading medium to large-scale projects and implementations

 • Experience with Epic implementation lifecycle (planning, build, testing, training, go-live,

 • Experience supporting lab workflows including specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting

 • Experience leading and supporting Epic Beaker CP and AP modules (build, configuration, validation)

 • Strong collaboration with laboratory leadership, pathologists, and IT teams

 • SQL knowledge

 • Ability to develop documentation including build specs, test scripts, and training materials

 • Experience providing go-live and post-implementation support including issue resolution and enhancements • Experience with Microbiology, General Laboratory, and Anatomic Pathology workflows

 • Familiarity with interfaces, reference labs, and results routing

 • Experience with reporting and charge workflows

 • Experience working in fast-paced healthcare environments

 • Knowledge of HIPAA, CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory requirements

 • Strong documentation and training experience (user guides, workflow documentation)

 • Self-motivated with a passion to learn and grow

 • Ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
