Job Summary
BMarko Structures is seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Safety Inspector to help maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment. The Safety Inspector is responsible for monitoring workplace conditions, identifying potential hazards, ensuring compliance with applicable safety regulations, and promoting a strong culture of safety across all operations.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify safety hazards and compliance issues

Ensure adherence to company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulatory standards

Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
-
Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near‑misses; assist with root‑cause analysis
-
Verify that corrective actions are implemented and effective
-
Support safety training initiatives and educate employees on safe work practices
-
Maintain accurate safety records, inspection logs, and incident documentation
-
Collaborate with supervisors and management to improve overall safety performance
-
Participate in safety audits and assist during regulatory inspections as required
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, industrial technology, or a related field preferred

Prior experience in safety inspection, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments preferred

Working knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices
-
Strong observation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and interact effectively with employees at all levels
Certifications (Preferred)
-
OSHA 10‑Hour or 30‑Hour Certification
-
Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential (a plus)
Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to walk, stand, and inspect work areas for extended periods
-
Ability to lift and carry items as required during inspections
-
Willingness to work in industrial environments and use required personal protective equipment (PPE)
