The role As a Device Repair / Maintenance Technician, you keep our growing device fleet in the field — you diagnose and repair returned units, turn them around fast, and turn every repair into a data point about why devices fail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and refurbish returned and failed units (component swaps, reassembly, retest).

• Hit repair throughput and turnaround targets so units return to the field on a predictable cycle.

• Accurately log failure modes and repair actions, feeding the failure-analysis taxonomy and the Reliability & Testing Lead's system.

• Run basic functional retest of repaired units before they go back out.

Minimum qualifications

• 1+ years of hands-on electronics/hardware repair (soldering, small-assembly disassembly/reassembly, component-level work).

• Careful, consistent documentation habits — you treat repair logs as data.

• Comfortable following test and repair procedures and flagging recurring issues.

• Based in China, on-site; Mandarin proficiency expected.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience repairing consumer electronics, cameras, or wearables at volume.

• Familiarity with test fixtures and basic diagnostic tools.
