Job Description
A large healthcare provider in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a remote PACs Project Manager to support a strategic initiative focused on migrating clinical imaging applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure. This individual will serve as the bridge between clinical imaging vendors, internal application owners, cloud infrastructure teams, and implementation partners to assess migration strategies, validate future-state architecture, and drive execution planning. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience managing or implementing PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and a strong understanding of clinical imaging workflows, data flows, dependencies, integrations, and operational impacts within a healthcare environment.
Responsibilties:

Lead assessments of clinical imaging applications to determine the appropriate application disposition strategy as part of the Azure migration initiative.

Facilitate discussions between imaging vendors, Azure architects, and implementation teams to evaluate whether applications should be rehosted, upgraded, replaced, retired, or deplatformed.

Analyze application dependencies, integrations, data flows, infrastructure requirements, and clinical workflow impacts to support disposition recommendations.

Confirm future-state architecture and migration methodologies for imaging platforms.

Develop migration and activation plans based on approved disposition decisions.

Drive project execution and serve as the primary PM throughout the migration lifecycle.

Identify risks, dependencies, and operational impacts to clinical imaging workflows.

Ensure migration plans are validated, documented, and aligned with business and technical requirements.

Experience in application disposition assessments for enterprise healthcare imaging applications.

Ability to evaluate and document migration recommendations, including rehost, replace, retire, deplatform, upgrade, or retain strategies.

Strong understanding of how clinical imaging applications, PACS platforms, integrations, and underlying infrastructure interact within a healthcare environment.
