Job Description:

• Location: Lake Mary Health Park, 960 Rhinehart Rd Suite 3050 Lake Mary, FL 32746

• Schedule: Part Time. Weekdays. 2x8 hour shifts per week.

• Establishes, implements, and adapts individualized treatment plans, including goal setting, treatment activities, and frequency.

• Documents all proceedings accurately to ensure program quality and meet hospital and department standards.

• Records additional pertinent information such as medical history in notes and other appropriate forms at the time of occurrence.

• Maintains area-specific productivity standards and markets the massage program in the hospital, community, and to medical personnel as indicated.

• Monitors and communicates supplies needed for job tasks to the designated person.

• Maintains a professional and functional work environment by keeping equipment and work areas clean, appropriately stocked, and orderly.

• Assists with business office and tech job duties as required. Utilizes knowledge of growth and development for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups by assessing, treating, educating, and communicating age-specific factors.

• Discharges patients when maximum benefit is achieved or according to standards of practice and payer guidelines.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Charges patients accurately and in a timely manner. Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Entry level clinical competency of Massage therapy, specific practice, theory, principles, and application [Required]

• Basic computer skills to include Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Windows [Required]

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and have good comprehension of conversational English [Required]

• LMT certified in pre/post natal massage, manual lymphatic drainage, and other medical modalities (Preferred)

Education:

• Technical/Vocational School [Required]

Field of Study:

• Massage Therapy

Work Experience:

• 1+ year providing massage therapy in a licensed environment [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) [Required]

Pay Range:

$19.23 - $30.77 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)

Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening , including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
