As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry and exit points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual conditions.

• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
