Overview:

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA, is currently hiring a Patient Transporter for a Full Time, Rotating Shift.

Hours

  • Work hours will will include the following primary shifts: 11am - 9pm and 10pm - 6am, along with some weekend rotations

Overview

Safely escorts and transports patients within all areas of the hospital using safe body mechanics. Strictly adheres to all safety rules and initiatives of Sentara. Communicates clearly with all staff, visitors, and patients. Ensures adequate communication of information between central transport and other departments.

Education

  • High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Certification/Licensure

  • BLS

Experience

  • Previous patient care experience (Required)
