The Primary Care Physician will begin primarily in a direct patient care and clinical oversight capacity; specifically structured to identify and cultivate for advancement to a physician leadership role.

Position: Primary Care Physician

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Flexible hours, 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $220,000 - $240,000

Report's To: Chief Medical Officer
Responsibilities:

Delivering comprehensive primary care to adolescents and adults

Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of medical conditions
-
Prescribe medications and recommend treatment plans

Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results

Educate patients and families on health, prevention, and wellness

Coordinate with specialists and other healthcare providers
-
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulations
-
Engage in continuous professional development and community outreach
-
Participate in on-call coverage and emergency response as needed
Qualifications:

Medical degree from an accredited institution
-
Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Family Medicine
-
NY State licensure required
-
24 CME credits every two years
-
Healthcare Provider CPR/AED certification
-
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
-
Experience serving diverse populations, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is a plus
