Activities Specialist

Pay: $20.50/hr

Responsibilities

  • Support Personal Care Needs: Assist individuals with dining, toileting, and transfers, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

  • Implement Engaging Programs: Develop and lead individual and group activities that promote skill development, independence, and community integration.

  • Collaborate on Behavior Plans: Work with the clinical team to create and implement behavior management strategies tailored to each individual.

  • Facilitate Transportation: Assist with transporting participants to various activities and appointments as needed.

  • Evaluate and Document Progress: Conduct satisfaction surveys, document participant progress, and ensure compliance with Individual Support Plans (ISPs).

Qualifications Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field preferred. High School diploma with 1 year of related experience also accepted.

  • Compassionate, organized, and eager to make a difference.

  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to assist in physical interventions as needed.
