Full job description
Production Associate – 3rd Shift
Location: Tiffin, OH
Schedule: Sunday-Thursday | 9:30 PM-6:00 AM
Overtime: As needed
Pay: $18.50/hour
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Position Summary
The Production Associate supports manufacturing operations by assisting machine operators, packaging products, handling materials, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This role works with soft polyester nonwoven insulation materials in a team-oriented production environment.
Key Responsibilities

Assist machine operators and support production processes.

Remove, inspect, assemble, package, label, and stack products.

Prepare totes, skids, bags, and boxes for packaging and shipment.

Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and safety procedures.

Use a tape measure and perform basic math calculations.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all plant safety policies and PPE requirements.

Support production goals and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
3-6 months of manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret work instructions and safety procedures.

Basic math and tape measure skills.

Strong communication, teamwork, and attendance record.

Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
-
Stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hours).
-
Frequent bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching.
-
Ability to work around moving machinery.

Must wear steel-toe or composite-toe footwear and required PPE.
