Music Therapists use the power of music to complement and enhance conventional care, providing additional comfort and connection for patients. Qualifications
Music Therapist Requirements & Core Responsibilities:

Degree in Music from an accredited school

Ability to pass background, consumer report, and drug test.

Provide music therapy per plan of care; assess patients and determine effectiveness.

Implement interventions to relieve symptoms and support emotional, physical, and spiritual comfort.

Use techniques such as relaxation, lyric analysis, songwriting, and life review; document sessions promptly.

Educate team, maintain HIPAA compliance, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement.

The hourly base range for this role is $21-$27.50 per hour. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: geographic location, relevant education, applicable certifications, depth of experience, and special skillsets. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision/pet insurance, disability and life insurance, paid time off, and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
