Full job description
Teacher - VTP & Special Education CTE Support
Duties: A unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment and change the lives of students. This position is a full-time position working with 11th and 12th grade students with disabilities in a Vocational Technical Preparation program. The morning program prepares 12th grade students with workplace skills and provides support for community-based work sites. The second half of the day the successful candidate will provide a variety of support (ELA, Math, pre-employment skills) to 11th grade students enabling them to be successful in college or the workplace. Experience in a vocational education setting, working with special needs learners and reading certification is preferred. Bus driver’s license is a plus.
Qualifications: Certified Special Education or eligible to pursue certification.
Location of Position: Rossetti Education Center, Madison-Oneida BOCES, Verona, New York
Term of Employment: Full-time, 10-month position
Salary: Contingent upon experience and education according to Teachers’ Contract.
Starting Date: September 1, 2026
