Environmental Services Associate - Malta Med Emergent Care
Location: 6 Medical Park Dr. Malta, NY 12020-Malta Med Emergent Care
Employment Type: Full Time
Shift/Schedule: 2 available shifts!
9:00 am - 9:30 pm
11:00 am - 11:30 pm
Department : Environmental Services
Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.54/hour based on experience and qualifications

About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated EVS Associate to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role, you are responsible for providing a clean, safe, pleasant environment for patients, residents and staff while insuring departmental customer service and cleaning standards are maintained.
What You’ll Do

Ensure departmental quality standards are maintained by following proper procedures for cleaning and sanitation of equipment, patient rooms, offices and all other areas of the hospital on a daily basis in a timely manner.

Check rooms and common areas for any safety hazards including spills, water, etc.

Utilize chemicals in accordance with OSHA standards while performing daily cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure a clean, safe, pleasant environment is maintained for patients, residents, and staff.

Utilize safe work practices and follow universal precautions at all times.

Follows Ecolab training guidelines

Collect, transport, and disposes of municipal waste, regulated medical waste, sharps, and soiled linen in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Clean, maintain, and store all cleaning equipment and restock supplies at the completion of the shift, and report any faulty equipment.
