Torden is seeking a qualified Bahasa linguist for a position on US Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay (GTMO).Requirements:

Interpretation and translation proficiency in Bahasa to / from English meet or exceed the level 3 on the ILR scale

Speaking, listening, reading comprehension of both Bahasa and English
-
Demonstrated ability to conduct accurate translation, transcription, and interpretation

Must have typing and computer skills

Must be able to think quickly and work in a professional atmosphere as part of a team

Ability to understand the essentials of all speech in a standard dialect and have broad vocabulary to rarely require assistance for paraphrasing or explanation.

Ability to follow accurately the essentials of conversations between educated native speakers

Ability to understand radio broadcasts, news stories similar to wire service reports, oral reports, some oral technical reports, and public addresses on non-technical subjects.

Due to location of assignment, must meet medical and dental screening requirements as well as immunizations up to date
Security Requirements:

Individuals with an active TS/SCI security clearance and current polygraph

All candidates must have a valid U.S. Government Counterintelligence (CI) screening (within 2 years) and valid CI polygraph (within 5 years) for consideration
