Boiler Operator – Maintenance Mechanic
Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Wage: $30 – $33/hr
Job Overview:
Join a Minnesota Top Workplace! As a Boiler Operator – Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance on packaging machines and other equipment within our manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, day shift position.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers (MN 2nd Class B Boiler License or higher preferred).
Follow appropriate safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and repair methods.
Independently perform repairs on assigned plant equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance for equipment on an assigned schedule.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues of plant equipment.
Document work performed in daily Individual Shift Report.
Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies, including signing out parts from the storeroom and notifying the supervisor of low supply levels.
Perform general building maintenance and repairs as needed.
Conduct electrical repairs on single-phase and three-phase power distribution components.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical control wiring on equipment.
Inspect equipment and perform corrective actions within the scope of a Class B Maintenance Technician’s skill level.
Other duties as requested.
