Description

Summary:

3E, a division of Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED), is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our Burlington team.

This position is primarily focused on office administration, accounting support, and customer service, with opportunities to assist our sales team with project coordination as needed.

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable working independently, and willing to jump in wherever help is needed. If you enjoy staying busy, solving problems, and learning new things, this could be a great opportunity.

Reports to: Profit Center Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous office, administrative, accounting, or customer service experience preferred.

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative.

  • Dependable, team-oriented, and customer focused.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years Accounts Payable experience

  • Associates degree from two-year college or technical school or Bachelor’s degree

Working Conditions:

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • This position operates in an office environment which requires sitting and working at a computer workstation for extended periods.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist with customer account setup and maintain accurate records.

  • Process and organize invoices and assist with basic accounts receivable functions.

  • Communicate with customers regarding account and payment questions.

  • Provide general office support, including filing, mail, shipping, scanning, and ordering supplies.

  • Provide administrative support to our sales team and other departments.

  • Assist with customer orders, shipping schedules, and delivery coordination.

  • Communicate with customers, contractors, manufacturers, and vendors regarding orders and product availability.

  • Help track projects and resolve order, shipping, and delivery issues.

  • Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
