JOB SUMMARY

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant will be accountable for the delivery of quality care to patients and families of all ages according to the individualized needs of the patient. The Medical Assistant or LPN is responsible for assisting physicians, mid-level providers, and other clinical staff in providing medical services to patients with provider delegation within scope of practice.

Training and Experience: Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Evidence of a working style that emphasizes collegiality, teamwork, participation, communication and service orientation required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and assist in other duties as needed and possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask required. Must possess a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion and maintain a professional appearance.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - Wage Range: $27.892 - $42.765

Education

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.

Experience Required:

A minimum of one (1) years of experience is required, with previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current WA State Medical Assistant Certification required. Current BLS certification required.

LPN - Wage Range: $29.569 - $46.156

Education

High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.

Experience Required:

A minimum of two (2) years of experience is required, with previous experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
