Security Officer
Location: Mercy Hospital – A Member of Catholic Health
Join Mercy Hospital, part of the Catholic Health system, and play a key role in providing a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Job Details
Job Responsibilities:

Responding promptly to emergencies and security incidents
-
Controlling facility access and ensuring only authorized personnel enter

Conducting regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
-
Assisting with fire safety inspections and staff education
-
Providing courteous support and assistance to patients, staff, and visitors

Preparing clear and timely incident reports
Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent
-
NYS Security Guard License (required)
-
Valid NYS Driver’s License (required)
-
BLS & AED Certification (required)
-
One year of security experience preferred (hospital setting a plus)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range
Starting from USD $28.25/Hr.
