Job Description

Location: Bowling Green, KY

Cannon Automotive Solutions, a division of Cleveland Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Coil Operator in our Bowling Green, Kentucky Stamping Facility. The Coil Operator is responsible for moving materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior Coil experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

Load and unload coil trucks

Receive and tag coil when necessary and forward to appropriate location in Coil Bay

Load and unload dies as required

Supply Coil Bay with materials neede

Remove finished goods from each specified area

Stack and arrange product in safe, orderly manner within the warehouse

Perform daily safety checks on forklift and maintain proper operation

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Perform housekeeping duties

Participates in continuous improvement projects (Lean)

Responsible to manage the cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment

Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality, Human Resources policies, and the Employee Handbook

Minimum Requirements:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks

Ability to find information, document relevant information and knowledge of computers

Ability to retain information and communicate effectively

Knowledge of and ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane

Preferred Requirements:

Previous experience working in a stamping environment
