Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)

Location: Forest Vets

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Working Pattern

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.

  • Flexible working patterns available.

  • No nights.

  • No out-of-hours.

  • Weekend rota discussed during interview.

Salary: £33,000–£38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

We are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our fantastic team at Forest Vets. This is a well-rounded, fast-paced hospital nursing role that offers exposure to a wide range of medical and surgical cases, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced RVN looking to develop their skills in a modern referral-standard environment.

🩺 The Role

This is a varied and rewarding nursing position where no two days are the same. We're looking for a confident and experienced RVN who enjoys working in a busy hospital setting and is passionate about providing outstanding patient and client care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high standards of inpatient and surgical nursing care.

  • Supporting a varied medical and surgical caseload.

  • Assisting with advanced procedures including endoscopy, CT and diagnostic imaging.

  • Working closely with our Veterinary Surgeons and wider clinical team.

  • Contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the hospital.

  • Supporting student nurses and junior team members where appropriate.

  • Maintaining exceptional standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

As part of Forest Vets, flexibility is important. While you will be based at one of our practices, you may be occasionally required to work across other branches of the group to support the wider team

There are no nights or out-of-hours requirements , as these are covered by our dedicated out-of-hours service.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS registered).

  • Confident working in a busy hospital environment.

  • Experienced in medical and surgical nursing.

  • Comfortable working independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive.

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient and client care.
