Career Opportunity: Production Team Member - Fernandina Beach Mill
The successful Smurfit Westrock team member will be working in a continuous manufacturing operation, working 12 hour rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation. Employees must comply with all safety regulations and practices. Smurfit Westrock is a team-based environment.
We offer a competitive benefits package; New employees commonly earn $50,000 to $60,000 annually, Health, life, dental and vision plans, 401(K) and employee assistance program, paid Holidays & Vacation.
What you need to succeed: (Basic Requirements):

High School diploma or G.E.D. completion certificate required

Manufacturing experience preferred

Demonstrated the drive to achieve and have upward movement into various jobs

Self-motivated desire to learn

Capable of meeting physical requirements to include working rotating shifts-weekends/holidays, around heat, noise, work inside/outside, etc.

Has the mechanical, mathematical, and verbal aptitude to learn positions

Proven record of performance

Play by the rules and work well with others

Able to operate in heavy manufacturing site and work variable schedule and overtime as needed
