- Role Details Position: Part-Time Legal Research Intern
- Location: Filevine HQ (Salt Lake City, UT OR Chicago, IL)
- Hours: 10–20 hours per week (flexible around class schedules)
- Eligibility: 2L and 3L students Responsibilities
- Read and analyze published judicial opinions across state and federal jurisdictions.
- Review outputs generated by AI systems and verify their accuracy against the source legal materials.
- Apply your legal research training to identify errors, ambiguities, or edge cases in automated outputs.
- Collaborate with legal researchers and ML engineers to improve data quality over time. Qualifications
- Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L at the University of Chicago Law School, Northwestern, or the Loyola University Chicago School of Law
- Completion of at least the 1L curriculum, including legal research and writing.
- Enjoy reading and analyzing judicial opinions, statutes, and other legal authorities.
